What I Work On

I focus on a small set of safety-critical repairs so every job stays clear, efficient, and stress-free.

If it fits the categories below, I can usually quote it and complete it in one visit.

If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you upfront so there are no surprises.

  • Complete brake service, start to finish.

    I handle:

    • Brake pad replacement

    • Brake rotor replacement

    • Calipers

    • Brake fluid flushes

    • Brake inspections

    Typical time: 60–120 minutes

Brakes are safety-critical, visible, and repeatable — which means no guessing and no surprises.

  • I replace worn suspension components when they are clearly due.

    I install:

    • Struts

    • Shocks

    • Control arms

    • Ball joints

    • Sway bar links

    • Outer tie-rod ends

    Typical time: 1–3 hours

I only install parts that are:

    • Noisy

    • Loose

    • Worn

    • Leaking

    • Or visibly damaged

No chasing clunks. No mystery noises.

  • I fix simple, obvious failures that stop a car from starting or staying charged.

    I service:

    • Batteries

    • Alternators

    • Starters

    • Battery cables & terminals

    • Spark plugs & ignition coils (when clearly failed)

If the problem can’t be identified quickly and clearly, I don’t proceed.

What I Don’t Do

To keep jobs clear, efficient, and stress-free, I do not offer:

  • Electrical diagnosis

  • Wiring repair

  • Check-engine-light chasing

  • Intermittent or “sometimes” problems

  • AC work

  • Oil leaks

  • Rusted or seized hardware

  • Engine tear-downs

  • Timing belts or timing chains

  • Internal engine repairs

  • “Can you also look at…” requests

If a job starts turning into a guessing game, I stop.

This protects you from surprise bills, and protects both of us from wasted time.

How It Works

I operate on a job-based mobile service model — not open-ended diagnostics.

Here’s how it works:

  • Tell me:

    • Your vehicle

    • The problem

    • What you think the car needs

If it falls within my service scope, I’ll confirm whether it’s something I can take on.

  • Every visit includes a non-refundable service call fee.

    This covers:

    • Travel

    • Setup

    • Initial inspection

    • Time reserved for your job

    This ensures:

    • I show up on time

    • You get priority

    • My schedule stays efficient

(Parts and labor are quoted separately once the job is confirmed.)

  • Appointments are booked for one specific repair category

(for example: brakes, suspension, or starting system).

Vehicles vary — some parts are bolt-on, some are buried, some are rusted.

Once I see the vehicle, I’ll confirm:

    • Parts needed

    • Labor required

    • Final price

Nothing moves forward without your approval.

  • If something unexpected shows up:

    • Rust

    • Seized hardware

    • Additional failures

I stop and check in with you before continuing.

    No surprise bills.

    No forced upsells.

Pricing Guide

Service Call Fee: $125

This non-refundable fee covers travel, setup, initial inspection, and time reserved for your job.

It applies to every visit.

Typical Starting Prices

These are starting points, not flat quotes.

Final pricing depends on vehicle design, access, and condition.

  • Brake service: starts around $300 per axle + parts

  • Suspension (bolt-on parts): starting around $200-$300 + parts

  • Starting & charging systems: starting around $150-$300 + parts

How pricing works

Once I see the vehicle, I confirm:

  • Parts required

  • Labor needed

  • Final price

Nothing moves forward without your approval.
